The East Wing was once the home of the rector and his household. Much of it has stayed just as it was built in the 1880s, with its, original layout, solid stone walls and rare Canadian pitch pine wood throughout. The warm tones of the timber, the gentle creak of the old staircase, and the quiet details give this wing a calm, timeless character.
The East Wing was built to embody a country style experience, hosting 4 large bedrooms with combinations of super-king, double and single beds. One double bedroom is located on the ground floor with an attached common bathroom, whilst the upstairs has three large en-suite rooms. Guests staying at the East Wing have access to spacious living with expansive views of Loch Linnhe, the Highlands and the town below. The dining area is large and comes attached with a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room. This wing is also pet-friendly, making it an ideal retreat for guests travelling with their furry companions.
The highlight of the house is the elevated outdoor Jacuzzi that is private, yet offers sweeping views of the hills and Loch Linnhe. The attached recreational room is filled with board games, table tennis, a sauna and quiet cosy corners making the East Wing a perfect staycation that encompasses grand tradition along with modern comforts!
