A Highland Fishing Experience

The Scottish Highlands are renowned for world-class salmon and trout fishing, as well as breathtaking scenery. Our Black Sheep Hotels are uniquely situated to help you experience the very best of West Coast Highland loch fishing, with access to three lochs – Lochy, Garry and Cluanie – and stays at one of our comfortable hotels – The Whispering Pine Lodge, Rokeby Manor or The Cluanie Inn.

Our fishing packages can be tailored to suit any group, from individuals to families or friends. Choose a three-, four-, or six-night stay, and we’ll get you out on our 15-foot traditional loch-style boats. The local waters host a mixture of salmon and trout in good numbers and sizes, presenting a rewarding experience for all ability levels. For many, the reward is spending time on the water, surrounded by unspoilt landscapes of Highland forests and mountains. Each package includes fishing permits, boat hire, lifejackets, rods and tackle and a packaged lunch. You can also choose which lochs to fish on and we recommend you try a day at each loch.

Additionally, our Ghillie is available for hire; please enquire at the time of booking for availability and pricing.

Package inclusions for 2 guests:

Accommodation for 2 guests with breakfast and wifi.
Fishing for 8hrs as per package selected, however check-in and check-out dates will not be included.
A wholesome packed lunch for dates when fishing is available.
Late check-out up to 1:00pm. subject to availability.
A 2 course dinner on any evening of your choice.

Terms and Conditions:

Valid from 15^th October 2023 till 30^th April 2024.
When you book this package online you will receive a system generated confirmation for your room only.
Black Sheep Hotels cannot guarantee availability for the package inclusions as all package inclusions are subject to availability. Upon receiving your booking our reservations team will confirm availability of slots as per your requirements and a formal confirmation will be sent along with the terms and conditions for the expedition.
Please check with our reservations team if you do not receive a confirmation mail within 48 hours.
In the event that there are no free slots available as per date of your choice our reservations team will connect with you and you will be allowed to amend your booking to an alternative date and the difference in rate, if any, will have to be borne by you. Please ensure that your contact details are correctly entered whilst making your booking.
The daily fishing excursions that are part of your package will be executed/undertaken through Black Sheep Adventures. A minimum time of 7 days before check-in is required to be able to book this package.
Fishing expeditions are subject to weather conditions. If Black Sheep Adventures makes the decision to cancel a fishing session due to extreme weather conditions beyond their control, for example extremely high winds making casting dangerous, water conditions/ river levels in spate or for any other reason; then either an alternative fishing option will be offered on the day, a re-scheduled date or a refund for the excursion will be provided. We will do our best to check weather conditions in advance and keep all guests informed.
Pet-friendly (dogs only) rooms are subject to availability and are on a chargeable basis of £25 per pet per stay. Taking your dog along on your fishing expedition will be subject to approval by Black Sheep Adventures.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation by you 8-15 days before arrival – 50% refund.
Cancellation by you 0-7 days before arrival – no refund.
Amendments to bookings made for dates of stay/reduction in the number of people will be subject to availability of rooms and cancellation policy of the Hotel.
Cancellation or amendments for the fishing expedition will be subject to the terms and conditions of Black Sheep Adventures. This component of your package may attract a retention charge even if you cancel your reservation or change your dates of stay.
